Celebrating Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area
ABOUT NATIONAL PARK WEEK
Each year, people across the country celebrate the natural and cultural treasures protected by the National Park Service during National Park Week! From iconic landscapes like Yosemite to neighborhood escapes CRNRA, it’s a time to recognize how parks connect, inspire, and restore communities.
It’s also a reminder that places like CRNRA rely on community support. With 3 million visits each year, this beloved urban national park faces ongoing challenges, from limited federal funding to staffing and maintenance needs.
As the park’s official nonprofit partner, we at CNPC work alongside the National Park Service to help fill critical gaps through community support, volunteer engagement, and projects that enhance the park experience. Throughout the week, we’ll be sharing ways to explore the park, get involved, and support the future of CRNRA.
How to Support CRNRA During National Park Week
Visit CRNRA
Whether it’s your first time or your hundredth, come enjoy your favorite unit!
When you purchase a daily or annual parking pass, you’re doing more than just covering your visit,
you’re investing in the park’s future. In fact,
80% of all park fee revenue stays right here at CRNRA!
Help Fill the Gaps
As the official nonprofit partner of CRNRA, Chattahoochee National Park Conservancy (CNPC) helps fill critical funding gaps through community support. From trail improvements to habitat restoration,
your gift helps protect this park when it needs it most!
Lend a Hand
Join one of our volunteer days and be part of the boots-on-the-ground team that keeps CRNRA clean, safe, and beautiful! Whether you're picking up trash, planting native species, or helping restore worn-out trails,
your time and effort have a lasting impact on this special place. No experience necessary!
Spread the Word
Invite a friend to hike with you. Tell your favorite local business about how they can get involved. And don’t forget to
follow us on social media for live daily updates, behind-the-scenes stories, and ways to celebrate National Park Week with us!
Visit the Park, Get a Perk
We’re teaming up with local businesses who love the park as much as you do! Show your CRNRA daily or annual parking pass between August 22-30 and receive a
special discount at participating shops and restaurants. It's a small way to say thanks for supporting the park we all call home.
