Donate to CNPC

Chattahoochee National Park Conservancy enhances Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area by building community, enriching lives, and catalyzing support to ensure a sustainable national park for future generations.

Since 2012, Chattahoochee National Park Conservancy (CNPC) has been the official friends group and primary philanthropic partner of CRNRA. We are the only nonprofit that exists solely to support this national park.

CRNRA is a vital part of our community and one of the top 30 most visited national parks in the country, attracting over 3 million visitors annually.  Despite its popularity and the critical role it plays in providing outdoor recreation, education, and wildlife habitat, CRNRA faces significant challenges due to insufficient funding.

Each year, Congress sets the budget for the National Park Service through the appropriations process, and unfortunately, CRNRA often doesn't receive an adequate budget to support the millions of dollars in deferred maintenance the park has and continues to grow. Additional funds to CRNRA would help address vital projects such as trail maintenance, park improvements, educational programming, and more. That’s why the Chattahoochee National Park Conservancy (CNPC) exists - to fill the gaps.  We work alongside the National Park Service to raise funds and rally volunteers to ensure the park remains a safe, beautiful space for everyone to enjoy.

Your support matters.  By giving to CNPC, you’re helping preserve and support the park for future generations. Every donation goes directly toward improving CRNRA and enhancing the park experience for millions of visitors. Together, we can preserve this incredible resource that so many rely on for recreation, relaxation, and connection with nature.

  • Gifts from Retirement Accounts

A gift directly from your IRA, 401(k), or other retirement accounts can be a tax-efficient way to support CNPC. We encourage you to consult with an attorney or financial advisor to explore this option.

  • Employer Matching Gifts & Corporate Volunteer Grants

Many employers offer matching gift programs that can double or even triple the impact of your donation. If your company participates in matching gifts, simply submit the appropriate form, and CNPC will work with your employer to maximize your contribution. Additionally, some companies offer corporate volunteer grants, where donations are made based on the number of hours you volunteer. Check with your employer to see if they have these programs in place.
