Join one of our rangers for a leisurely hike along the Chattahoochee River. Beginning just behind the historic Hewlett Lodge Visitor Center, this guided walk will lead you past a variety of local flora, geologic sites, and the river itself!  

Location: Program will begin on the back patio of the Hewlett Lodge Visitor Center, located at 1978 Island Ford Parkway, Sandy Springs, GA. 30350.  

Facilities: Restrooms are located in the Visitor Center.  

Bring: Closed toed shoes and weather appropriate clothing for outdoor walking.

A $5 daily parking pass or annual pass is required at all Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area park units. You can purchase a day pass at the trailhead or online: https://www.nps.gov/chat/planyourvisit/fees.htm
