Join Chattahoochee National Park Conservancy for a rewarding volunteer workday with YOUR team! We will be working at Sope Creek - Cochran Shoals Unit, one of 15 lands units of the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area. We will be focusing on trash removal along the riverbank and English Ivy removal from the Sope Creek Mills to help preserve the park! We will be providing trash pickers, gloves, and trash bags for your team. Please remember to wear sturdy, weather-appropriate clothing as we come together to enhance our surroundings.

Please consider carpooling, as parking is limited, ensuring a smoother and more eco-friendly experience for all participants.

Volunteers will participate in a land-based trash cleanup & plant pull focused on removing litter from trails, roadsides, and vegetation surrounding public areas around the Sope Creek - Cochran Shoals Unit.

What We’ll Provide:

  • Trash bags
  • Gloves
  • Litter grabbers (limited supply)

What to Bring / Wear:

  • Closed-toe shoes (required)
  • Comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing
  • Refillable water bottle
  • Bug spray and sunscreen

Please note: there are no bathrooms at this site. Please plan accordingly
