Interstate N, Cochran Shoals Unit
Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area
Calling all trail-loving pups and their people! 🐶
Join the National Park Service for a tail-wagging adventure where your dog can earn their official B.A.R.K. Ranger badge and learn how to be a top-tier steward of the park. To be sworn in as a B.A.R.K. Ranger, dogs and their humans must learn and commit to the four core principles of responsible pet recreation in national parks:
- Bag your pet’s waste
- Always leash your pet
- Respect wildlife
- Know where you can go
Once your pup completes their mission, they’ll be sworn in as an honorary B.A.R.K. Ranger—complete with a badge and bragging rights! Whether your dog is a seasoned trail trotter or a first-time explorer, this drop-in event is a great way to bond, learn, and celebrate responsible recreation.
