Join us for a meaningful morning of hands-on conservation at Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area Powers Island Unit. In honor of the National Day of Service, we are coming together to restore, protect, and beautify one of Atlanta's most scenic and vital river corridors. Whether you love hiking the local trails, paddling the river, or simply supporting your community, this is your chance to give back and make a visible, lasting impact.

Where to meet?

In the parking lot next to the trail map sign.

What to bring/wear:

• A reusable water bottle (with water, of course!)
• Close-toed shoes for walking
• Long sleeve shirt and pants (recommended)

What we provide:

•  Trash pickers
•  Gloves
•  Trash bags

Age Requirement: CNPC requires all volunteers to be the ages of 10 and above. 

A $5 daily parking pass or annual pass is required at all Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area park units. You can purchase a day pass at the trailhead or online: https://www.nps.gov/chat/planyourvisit/fees.htm
