Join the National Park Service for a campfire, an opportunity to learn about the common mammals found in the Chattahoochee River Corridor,  a short guided walk, and a beautiful summer evening.    The program on the covered upper deck will include skulls, skins, and interesting facts about some of the common mammals found along the river. Join us to have fun and enjoy the beauty of evening’s onset at the Chattahoochee. You are welcome to come early and bring a picnic dinner.  After the program you are invited to join us on a short walk on the Three Forks Loop Trail.  After the walk, you are invited to roast marshmallows or just enjoy the campfire.

Parking is limited and carpooling is encouraged.

Facilities:  Located in the Center’s Lodge.  

Difficulty: Easy level walking

Bring:  Dress for the weather and wear comfortable shoes suitable for walking on a forest trail.  Dress in layers so that you can adjust to changes in the temperature and activity level.  Bring water and you might include snacks.

You are also welcome to bring your own marshmallows to roast.  We have roasting forks that you may use.
