Paddle the Park Series
Morgan Falls to Powers Island
9:00 AM launch (trip will take approximately 1.5-3 hours including shuttle, and time on the water can vary depending on water levels and how much participants paddle)
Get ready to see the Chattahoochee like you’ve never seen it before! This trip is part of our Paddle the Park Series, a guided adventure that explores the entire 48‑mile stretch of river within the CRNRA through a collection of sectioned paddles. Each outing highlights a different character of the river from peaceful flatwater to gently moving stretches giving you the chance to experience the Chattahoochee one beautiful piece at a time.
The Morgan Falls to Powers Island paddle is a calm, scenic 3‑mile float with gentle currents, beautiful river views, and plenty of wildlife along the way. It’s a great option for both first‑time paddlers and those looking for a relaxed morning on the water.
Important Note
All participants should plan to be at the take‑out location (Powers Island) by 9:00 AM to sign the volunteer waiver and board the shuttle to the launch point.
