Enjoy the beautiful forest, grand vista of Devil’s Racecourse Shoals from the overlook, and the dramatic palisades created by the Brevard Fault. We will descend the ridge on the Cabin Creek Loop Trail. With the leaves mostly gone, winter is the very best time to appreciate the extraordinary topography of the Palisades Unit of the park. Along the trail we will look for wildlife signs, the beginnings of spring, and maybe a salamander or two. Join us for a wonderful winter walk.
