Description: Join us for a community cleanup event at Powers Island, located within the CRNRA. The trails along the Chattahoochee River need our attention to remove debris and preserve the area's cleanliness. By participating, we play a vital role in keeping the paths clear and the river free from pollution. This event welcomes families and individuals, allowing everyone to contribute to environmental conservation. Let's come together to make a positive impact on Powers Island and its surrounding ecosystem.
Facilities: Restrooms in the trailhead parking lot
Bring: Dress appropriately for the weather and wear comfortable shoes suitable for forest trail walking, considering layers for temperature changes. Remember to bring water and snacks. We will provide all the tools for clean-up.
Restrictions: No Children under 10 and No Dogs
Limit: 30 persons
