Description: Join us on a picturesque journey through the Jones Bridge unit of the CRNRA where a scenic hike awaits along the banks of the Chattahoochee River. The trail offers promising breathtaking views of the river's whitewater shoals and the verdant, wildflower-strewn forest teeming with wildlife. From the tops of the ridges, we'll see the river sparkling below. This hike is perfect for anyone looking to spend the morning admiring nature.
Facilities: Restrooms are located in the parking lot
Difficulty: Moderate 5-mile hike
Bring: Dress appropriately for the weather and wear comfortable shoes suitable for forest trail walking, considering layers for temperature changes. Remember to bring water and snacks, and pack binoculars and a hand lens for a more immersive experience. Sunscreen and bug spray are also encouraged.
Restrictions: No Children under 10 and No Dogs
Note: A daily entrance fee of $5 or annual pass is required.
