December Community Hike

JOIN THE CHATTAHOOCHEE NATIONAL PARK CONSERVANCY FOR OUR December COMMUNITY HIKE 

SaturDAY, December 16th

 9 AM - 12 PM

Medlock Bridge Unit of Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area (CRNRA)      

Our December “Trails Less Traveled” hike is at Medlock Bridge, a lesser-known northern unit. This easy to moderate 3 mile hike covers most trails in Medlock Bridge. The trails travel along the river and climb to the ridges. There are two sets of stairs and several steep sections. After we hike, enjoy holiday cookies.

CRNRA entrance is on the east side of Route 141,  0.2 miles south of the Chattahoochee River

       Please no dogs.

       There are no restrooms at this unit

       Limit: 20

There is a $5.00 per day fee to park at the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area.

This event will take place rain or shine. It will be rescheduled due to severe weather, including thunderstorms or flood warnings. Participants will be notified by email the morning of the event (or sooner) if this event is rescheduled due to weather.
