October Community Hike

Join the Chattahoochee National Park Conservancy for our October Community Hike

9 AM – 12 PM
 Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area - Jones Bridge Unit

Enjoy cooler weather and fall colors on this 5.5 mile hike. The trail will be flat along the river and on some of the interior trails. We will hike over a ridge as we cross from the Southern to the Northern end of this unit. Hiking poles might be helpful for some hikers.

Meet at the Jones Bridge Northern parking lot

       There are restrooms at the northern Jones Bridge parking lot

There is a $5.00 per day fee to park at the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area. Or use your annual CRNRA pass or an America the Beautiful pass. Purchase a pass here. https://www.nps.gov/chat/planyourvisit/fees.htm

This event will take place rain or shine, however it will be rescheduled in the event of severe weather including thunderstorms or flood warnings. Participants will be notified by email the morning of the event (or sooner) should an event need to be rescheduled due to weather.
