6-WEEK YOGA IN THE PARK SERIESThursdays from 6:00 - 7:00 PM @ Paces Mill Join us as we breathe, stretch, and find peace by the Chattahoochee at the Paces Mill unit of Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area! Sessions are designed for all levels of experience and are free (with a suggested donation of $20 per person). |
TAKE THE HIKECRNRA CHALLENGE HikeCRNRA encourages participants to hike all 66 official miles of trails in the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area. Individuals who complete the challenge will receive an annual membership to Chattahoochee National Park Conservancy and will receive a HikeCRNRA patch. |

Tourism to Crnra contributes over $176m to local economyA new National Park Service (NPS) report shows that 3,537,848 visitors to Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area in 2022 spent $176,660,000 in communities near the park. That spending supported 2,372 jobs in the local area and had a cumulative benefit to the local economy of $259,566,000. |
trailheads swagThe TrailHeads, a hiking group of six friends, love the CRNRA and to show their support have created a line of limited edition Hike the Hooch tees that they are making available to the public. All of the clothing has the CNPC logo on the sleeve and all proceeds are donated to CNPC to help support park initiatives. The designs are sure to boost your hiking experience while sharing your appreciation of our local National Park. |
DISCOVER YOUR RIVER. YOUR PARK.The Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area is part of the National Park System and is made up of 15 park units along 48 miles of the Chattahoochee River. This stretch of the Chattahoochee River is a National Water Trail and is part of the national park. The park is made up of 7,000 acres of land and river and has 66 miles of hiking trails. |
WATER SAFETYSince 2012, over 15 drowning-related fatalities at Diving Rock in the Palisades unit of the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area, with the majority of the victims being young African American males who were not wearing personal flotation devices (PFD's). In response, the park has collaborated with WABE and the YMCA of Metro Atlanta to develop a public awareness campaign that emphasizes wearing PFDs. |

Lead the Pack - Bag and Bin It! Thirty-seven new dog waste bins installed in the CRNRA include free waste bags and disposal bins to encourage visitors to properly dispose of their dog’s waste at the park. |
