6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Description:
Join us as we breathe, stretch, and find peace by the Chattahoochee at the Paces Mill unit of Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area! Sessions are designed for all levels of experience and are free (with a suggested donation of $20 per person). There will be a post-session hike, and all are welcome to join to further embrace the beauty of nature.
Instructor: Neda Hanson
Bring: Please bring a yoga mat, a large towel (for wet grass), bug spray, and water bottle.
Facilities: Restrooms are located in the parking lot near the meadow.
Note: There is a $5 parking fee to support the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area - scan the code at the Fee Station or purchase your pass online here.
Heat warning: As summer temperatures soar and heat incidents increase across the park, CNPC urges attendees to stay safe by being well-prepared for high temperatures. Please bring plenty of water (often more than you think you'll need!), list a reliable emergency contact, and know your limits. Be aware of the serious signs of heat exhaustion and heat stroke, including heavy sweating, dizziness, nausea, and confusion. Events may be canceled if temperatures become too extreme. Your safety is our priority.
***Yoga may be modified or canceled due to weather conditions.***
