April Community Hike

Description: Our April hike is at the historic Vickery Creek location. The 5-mile hike will start at the Covered Bridge and travel along the perimeter and inside trails of this well-forested unit. A highlight is the view of the Falls that supported the historic Roswell Mill.
Facilities: Restrooms by the covered bridge
Difficulty: This is a moderate 5-mile hike; hiking poles may be helpful.
Bring: Dress appropriately for the weather and wear comfortable shoes suitable for forest trail walking, considering layers for temperature changes. Remember to bring water and snacks, and pack binoculars and a hand lens for a more immersive experience. Sunscreen and bug spray are also encouraged.
Restrictions: No Children under 10 and No Dogs
Note: A daily entrance fee of $5 or annual pass is required.
Limit: 20 persons
