Tour of Buford Trout Hatchery
June 23, 10 AM - 12PM

LIMITED to 13 attendees

CNPC members are invited to learn how water from the Chattahoochee River is used to rear brown and rainbow trout to stock Georgia's designated trout waters. We will have a guided tour of the Buford Trout Hatchery, near the Bowmans Island Unit of the Chattahoochee National Recreation Area. This a rare opportunity to get a behind the scenes tour of the hatchery. If schedules align, we will even get to witness a trout release into the park. If there is not a trout release we can walk the surrounding trails following the tour.
