The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others. – Mahatma Gandhi

How can you serve the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area (CRNRA)? There are many ways for all skill and interest levels! You can help Chattahoochee Parks Conservancy organize events, lead outings in the park, participate in trash cleanups, remove invasive plants, plant native vegetation and maintain trails. We would also love your help to recruit new members and donors, assist with administrative tasks and host house parties to learn about the park and our work. If you’re interested, contact us at info@chattahoocheeparks.org.

To learn about the National Park Service’s Volunteers in Parks (VIP) program, click here. If you would like to become a VIP, you must complete this form and then email it to Ranger Dave Thomas, CRNRA Volunteer Coordinator, at David_A_Thomas@nps.gov or mail it to him at 1978 Island Ford Pkwy, Sandy Springs, GA 30350. Monthly volunteer meetings are held every second Thursday of the month at the Island Ford Visitor Center.

Chattahoochee Parks Conservancy, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. We are proud to support our Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area, a unit of the national park system managed by the National Park Service.
