The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others. – Mahatma Gandhi

How can you serve the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area (CRNRA)? There are many ways for all skill and interest levels! You can help Chattahoochee National Park Conservancy organize events, lead outings in the park, participate in trash cleanups, remove invasive plants, plant native vegetation and maintain trails. We would also love your help to recruit new members and donors, assist with administrative tasks and host house parties to learn about the park and our work. If you’re interested, contact us at info@chattahoocheeparks.org.

If you would like to become a volunteer in the park, you must register and complete required National Park Service (NPS) forms. Click here to start the process. To learn about the NPS's Volunteers in Parks (VIP) program, click here. Standing work days are the first and third Saturday each month, and monthly volunteer meetings are held every second Thursday of the month at the Island Ford Visitor Center.

Chattahoochee National Park Conservancy, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. We are proud to support our Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area, a unit of the national park system managed by the National Park Service.
