Join the National Park Service for a campfire and live owl program presented on the upper deck of the Center’s Lodge. Bring your own marshmallows to roast over the campfire. Discover new facts about the wildlife of the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area and their nocturnal habits. There will be a live owl program on the upper deck presented by Chattahoochee Nature Center Naturalists with a special surprise guest. Receive a complimentary Chattahoochee River Journal with wildlife lists and paw prints. Enjoy the campfire, the owls, and the beauty of the Chattahoochee.

Parking is limited and carpooling is encouraged.
Facilities: Located in the Center’s Lodge
Difficulty: Easy level walking
Bring: Dress for the weather and wear comfortable shoes suitable for walking on a forest trail. Dress in layers so that you can adjust to changes in the temperature and activity level. Bring water and you might include snacks. You are welcome to bring marshmallows for the campfire. We have roasting forks.
