Join the Chattahoochee National Park Conservancy for our May Community Hike

9 AM - 12 PM

Akers Mill Unit 

of the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area (CRNRA)


Our May hike will be an easy to moderate 4 - 5 mile hike at the Akers Mill unit.  There will be some steep sections of the hike.

This is a great opportunity to explore the Akers Mill unit of the CRNRA and complete some trails towards the HikeCRNRA challenge.  



Please no dogs.

Not recommended for children under 12.

Max 20 participants

This event will take place rain or shine, however it will be rescheduled in the event of severe weather including thunderstorms or flood warnings. Participants will be notified by email the morning of the event (or sooner) should an event need to be rescheduled due to weather.

In addition, I grant Chattahoochee National Park Conservancy, as well as their representatives and employees, the right to take photographs of me and my property during the program and I authorize Chattahoochee National Park Conservancy to use and publish the same in print and/or electronically. I agree that Chattahoochee National Park Conservancy may use such photographs of me with or without my name and for any lawful purpose, including, for example, social media, publicity, illustration, advertising, and web content. This agreement is subject to the laws of the State of Georgia, and I agree that any lawsuit arising from my participation may be brought only in the courts located in Gwinnett County, Georgia.
