Powers Island Unit of CRNRA 

Join us for this 2-hour guided hike at the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area's Powers Island unit led by Trees Atlanta guides. We will identify and explore the trees of the area while we hike the park's trails.  

Meeting Location: Chattahoochee River NRA - Powers Island Unit

Nearest Address for GPS: 5450 Interstate N Pkwy, Sandy Springs, GA 30328

Registration required. Cost $5 per participant. 

There is a $5.00 fee to park at the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area. Or use your annual CRNRA pass or an America the Beautiful pass

This event will take place rain or shine, however it will be rescheduled in the event of severe weather including thunderstorms or flood warnings. Participants will be notified by email the morning of the event (or sooner) should an event need to be rescheduled due to weather.

I agree that Chattahoochee National Park Conservancy may use such photographs of me with or without my name and for any lawful purpose, including, for example, social media, publicity, illustration, advertising, and web content. This agreement is subject to the laws of the State of Georgia, and I agree that any lawsuit arising from my participation may be brought only in the courts located in Gwinnett County, Georgia.
